House. C17 with probably late C18 addition. Timber framed with red brick
nogging, extended in red brick, painted to front; plain tile roofs. Gabled
cross-wing of 2 framed bays to right. One storey and attic and 2 storeys.
Left-hand range with dentil brick eaves cornice and external lateral stack
at rear; external lateral brick stack to cross-wing. Framing: square panels,
3 from sole-plate to wall-plate; short straight braces. 2-window front;
first-floor C19 two-light wooden casements and ground floor C19 wooden cross-
windows with depressed arches; central 6-panelled door with segmental head
and bracketed segmental hood; cross-wing with C20 three-light attic metal
casement to front and ground floor C20 four-light metal casement. Cross-
wing has collar and tie beam trusses with queen struts exposed in gable ends;
some of the framing has been replaced in the mid- to late C20.
