Barn. Probably C17. Rubble, timber-frame, weatherboards, stone slate roof.
T-plan, 4 bays to front and 3 bays to rear left, continuous contemporary cat-
slide extension to front of right hand bay. Full height corrugated iron opposed
doors to second bay from right, small door to left hand side of front of cat-
slide extension. Rear portion has high rubble plinth, cill beam, truncated
corner posts and weatherboards. Interior: heavy cambered tie-beams, raking
struts to principals, local type end gable with rubble infill between rafters
and tie-beam. Group value with nearby stables and farmhouse (qv).
