Lodge to Paddock's House (not included), now a house. Late
C19. Squared limestone rubble, stone slate roof with exposed
rafter-ends, bargeboards, and moulded brick stacks. Gothic
Revival style. L-shaped plan with stair turret to the angle.
EXTERIOR: single storey with attic; one-window range. The
stair turret in the south-west angle has a pyramidal roof with
a ball finial, the projecting corner is canted to the ground
floor with a small window and corbelled out to a right angle
on the 1st floor. Leading to it, on the south-west wall, is a
stone-slated lean-to arcaded porch with a painted timber
semicircular arch to the north-west end and semicircular
arches supported by turned colonnettes along the right-hand
side. Segmental arches to 3-light casement windows, to the
north-west wall is a gabled bay window.
