Row of four cottages,now three dwellings.Late C18/early C19.Limestone rubble with freestone dressings and quoins,stone slate roof brick stacks to party walls and gable ends(truncated to the left).One and flanking two-unit plans with rear and side extensions.EXTERIOR:two storeys;two-window range except No.90 which is one-window range.The two cottages to the centre(Nos 90 and 92)step forward with shallower-pitched roofs and are probably later than the end ones.Bracketed gutters.C20 doors and two-light casement windows,formerly stone-mullioned.No.88 to the left has rebated stone surrounds to windows,No.94 to the right has cyma moulding and traces of stone mullions to former two-light windows;both have continuous hoodmoulds over ground-floor windows and door;most have chamfered architraves to the doors,all have flat hoods with reeded edges on shaped stone brackets.INTERIOR:of the two former cottages to the centre,(now one dwelling).Each cottage has a two-bay roof with butt purlins.An interesting planned layout of late C18 artisan cottages.
