Railway office. c1840. By Isambard K Brunel, engineer, for the
Great Western Railway. Limestone ashlar, shallow-pitched
hipped slate roof with wide eaves, tall moulded stacks to end
walls. Rectangular plan.
EXTERIOR: single storey; symmetrical 4-window range. Plain
surrounds to the outer windows, with C20 closed shutters;
moulded archivolts and plain fanlights to C19 double 3-panel
doors flanked by similar windows with a platband at impost
level; C20 windows and shutters. Plinth.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
