Hunningham Railway Bridge

A Grade II* Listed Building in Hunningham, Warwickshire

Marton Junction High Bridge

Uploader's Comments

Just west of Marton junction on the dismantled Leamington Spa to Rugby railway line is this single-span wrought-iron trussed lattice girder bridge to carry Ridgeway Lane over the railway. It is approximately 60' (18 metres) high. At the time it was built (1851) this was the longest such bridge ever constructed. In later years, four lattice columns and cross-ties were added to reinforce the original structure.
