GV II

House. C18, altered C19 and C20. Timber-framed and plastered,
old tile and C20 tiled roofs, with red brick chimneys with
oversailing bands. Central entry plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. First floor and ground floor have 2
flush-set 16-pane sash windows, ground floor with modern
6-panel door with architrave surround shallow fanlight and
cornice doorhood on cut bracket modillions. 1-bay wing
recessed at left (No.257) with 3 storeys, 1 sash window first
floor, small casement on second floor, and modern wide
small-paned bow window on ground floor.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
