House, now offices. Dated 1801 on keyblock over porch,with C20
alterations. Stucco on brickwork, colour washed brickwork to
sides, porch, and Welsh slated roof. Central staircase plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Front elevation with 2 recessed glazing
bar sash windows to ground and first floors and plat band at
first-floor level. Central porch with stone slabs with
keyblock bearing date, flat roof, and balustrade surround with
vase balusters. C20 5-panel door. High in centre is stone
sundial, engraved with lines and numerals and iron gnomon,
probably reset. Rear elevation has gabled roof, 2 sash windows
to first floor, single ground-floor full length sash and C20
glazed door, all with glazing bars. Single-storey lean-to with
Welsh slated roof.
INTERIOR: largely rebuilt in 1970s. Building set back in yard
behind shops and approach through C20 carriageway on street
frontage.
