Workshop and barn or coach house, now offices and store. Late
C17, altered C20. Timber-framed, No.15 stuccoed on first
floor, partly underbuilt in red brick at front and with
black-stained weatherboarding to rear. No.17 has black-stained
weatherboarding. Old tile roofs, hipped on right-hand corner
(No.17 has machine tiled inner slope).
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; first floor of No.15 has early C20 stucco
facing (replacing weatherboarding) with quoins left and right
and as window surround, masonry lining, and plat band at
first-floor level; large C20 mullion and transom window, with
8 lights plain glazed metal casements, top 4 transom lights
above eaves and wall plate level as long low box dormers;
ground floor has C19 flush-set sash window with divided
glazing, C20 panelled door and modern garage door at right.
No.17 has pair of boarded doors at right with loft doors
above, late C17 framed structure with primary bracing, large
C20 flat-roofed rear extension in angle between Nos 15 & 17.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
An important element of a significant street frontage.
