GV II

House, divided into 2, now one. Late C17. Limestone rubble
with brick nogging and gable stacks with a stone slate roof.
Single-depth 2-room plan.
Single storey and attic; 3-window range. Set at right-angles
to road with timber lintels to a re-set central doorway with
boarded door and 6-pane attached window to the left, formerly
an entrance, in a shallow recess with a wide hipped stone
slate canopy above, and horned 3/3-pane sashes at each end; 3
gabled dormers have 2-light casements, the wider middle one
with a pair. Left-hand end gable has an exposed truss with
purlin mortices, and brick nogging.
Rear full-width C19 outshut.
INTERIOR: altered, details include thick, battered walls, 3
trusses with tie beams and collars, ridge not visible and a
C20 rear stair.
