Remains of chapel wall incorporated into later buildings.
Medieval. Limestone rubble wall with dressings.
Part of former E wall of chapel with 2 blocked loops and
splayed reveals of window, incorporated into internal
first-floor right-hand party wall with No.19. The rest of Nos
19 & 21 are not of special architectural or historic interest.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Aubrey noted remains of 'ancient building
which looks like an hermitage', in late C17, and site is
marked 'Quaere chapel' on his map.
