Near pair of houses. Early/mid C19. Incised stucco on probable rubble with plinth string; dry slate hipped roof with projecting eaves; central brick stack and another at rear left. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; overall 6-window range to road: No.1 with regular 3-window-range garden front with no doorway; No.2 with symmetrical 3-window entrance front with central doorway. No.1 has similar entrance front to left-hand return. Incised pilasters. Moulded hoods on brackets to ground-floor windows. Original 12-pane hornless sashes; original glazed porches with brackets under projecting eaves and pairs of glazed doors and sidelights, 3-pane overlight above door of No.1, full-width patterned overlight to narrower porch of No.2. INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be of interest.
