Similar pair of houses. Early/mid C19; probable render to
No.6; hipped roof with stepped eaves: dry slate on the left,
asbestos slate on the right; central rendered stack and end
stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 2 symmetrical 3-window
fronts. Original hornless sashes with distinctive pattern of
margin panes to No.4, with moulded hoods on consoles to ground
floor and moulded mid floor string; later 4-pane horned sashes
to No.6. Each house has original glazed porch with pilasters,
consoles and coved brackets, moulded cornice and pair of
glazed doors. INTERIORS not inspected but likely to be of
interest.
