Shop and former public house, originally a dwelling. Late C16.
Timber-framed with plain tiled roof. Three storeyed, three-window range. Ground floor renewed with brick nogging, with central and outer doorways, round-arched windows to left-hand shop, and oriel bay window to public house. Upper storeys each jettied out on moulded bressumer, and framed in small panels, with some ogee tension bracing, and quatrefoil panelling in the upper storey. Vertical members have raised twisted shaft decoration, and the timbers are also embellished with quatrefoil emblems. Three oriel wood mullioned and transomed windows with leaded lights on each floor, carried on moulded corbel brackets. Enriched bargeboards to gables over each upper window. Two rear wall stacks.
