Syenite obelisk tablet to the memory of Francis Hawksley d. 30th Aug 1749 age 82, Elizabeth his wife d. 15th Dec 1756 age 88, Francis their son d. 14th Sept 1781 age 83, Also to Thomas Hawksley d. 4th Jan 1782 age 49, Elizabeth his wife d. 9th Sept 1807 age 75, Thomas their son d. 3rd Oct 1802 age 43, John their younger son d. 27th Jan 1815 and buried at Cheshunt. Arms: Sable between three martletsargent a fess ermine. Crest out of a ducal crown or a hawk rising with wings addorsed and inverted. (Photo Sept 2014).
