Pair of shops, probably originally dwellings. Early C18.
Painted brick with steeply pitched plain tiled roof. 3 storeys
with attic dormers, 2-window range. Shop fronts inserted late
C20, but incorporating parts of an earlier fascia, with heavy
moulded console brackets at each end. First-floor windows are
early C20 three-light oriels, with pedimented heads over the
central light, and leaded upper panes. They are linked by a
continuous cornice. 4 flush-framed sash windows to second
storey, originally 12-paned with flat-arched heads, but
glazing bars removed from lower sash. Plain moulded wood eaves
cornice to overhanging roof, with 3 pedimented dormer windows.
Coped gables.
