2 early C18 houses incorporated behind mid C19 front. Stucco
upper floors with tiled pub frontage. 5 windows and 4-window
return to Great James Street. C20 pub frontage with fluted
pilasters. Each upper floor with pilasters, at the angles and
join of the 2 houses, carrying sill strings. 2nd and 3rd
floors with moulded bands at 2/3 window height. Architraved,
recessed 2-pane sashes; 1st floor with bracketed cornices, 3rd
floor with enriched heads. Bracketed cornice.
INTERIOR: retains cornices and cast-iron columns with
Corinthian capitals.
