Formerly known as: Pillar Box Cottages RADIPOLE LANE Radipole.

Detached house. C18. Rubble, thatch roof. A long low building
facing E, with its back wall to the edge of the road, with a
slight curve at the S end. There are 4 straight joints in the
masonry, showing successive builds or infill action, and the
roof is lower at the S end.
One-and-a-half storeys. The main front, to the garden, has
various casements, mainly with horizontal bars. At the left
hand end, at the eaves to the lower roof, is a 2-light with
small panes, then 2 hipped stone gables with 2-light casements
above 3-lights at ground floor; centred to these is a 2-light
dormer above a plank door plus 2-light. At the right-hand end
is a pair of French doors, and a 3-light small-pane casement.
The long, low one-storey road front has 4 square openings with
very deep-set 4-pane casements to tiled sills. The half-hipped
S end has an early 2-light iron casement with leading, above
another similar casement and a very wide plank door with a
ledge hood. There are 2 ridge stacks.
