Farmhouse. Circa late C17 with C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Rough rendered stone. Gable-ended roof, reclad in asbestos tiles. Gable-end stacks with brick shafts. PLAN: 2-room plan, facing south, with larger right-hand [E] room with.gable-end stack and stair turret on rear [N] wall; smaller left [W] room with gable-end stack; opposing front and back entrances at centre directly into the right [E] room. Circa late C18 or C19 outbuilding attached to front of west room, now incorporated into house. C20 conservatory on south front and C20 porch at rear in angle with stair turret. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic. Asymmetrical south front with central doorway and C20 casements on ground and first floor to right; C20 conservatory across front and 1-storey and attic gable~ended wing on left. Rear [N], large full-height gabled stair turret on left with small 2-light windows, C20 casements on right and C20 wooden porch at centre in the angle with the stair turret. Lower east gable end has oven-bulge on right and small 2-light wooden window with leaded panes. INTERIOR: ground and first floor rooms have chamfered ceiling beams with cyma stops and blocked fireplaces, ground floor east with oven. One old plank door, remainder replaced. 3-bay roof having principal rafters with high collars and trenched purlins, one purlin at front and two at back because of stair to attic; right-hand [E] truss closed.
