Pair of timber framed cottages, C16 or earlier. Each 2 storeys, 3 windows,
irregular. High pitched tiled roofs with cross gable to left back; and right
roof sweeping down to within 3 ft of ground. No 2 has visible square framing
with diagonal braces, brick-filled. Modern casements above, older iron
casements below. No 1 has weather- boarded 1st floor, brick ground floor.
Square paned casements, 3 of them old iron ones. Much exposed heavy timber
inside and inglenook fireplace to No 2.

Grosvenor House Cottages, Nos 1 & 2 (Dale Cottages) form a group with
Grosvenor House and Nos 1 & 2 (Lockyer Place) Vicarage Hill.
