Early C18 building with early C19 alterations. Each dwelling 2 storeys, 2 windows.
Hipped tiled mansard roof with 2 small dormers, replaced casements. Red brick
with blue headers. Gauged flat brick arches to windows, early C19 sashes with
glazing bars to No 1, modern casements to No 2. No 1 has entrance on west return;
and small oriel shop window at riglt. No 2 has 6-panel door (upper 2 panels
glazed) with panelled pilasters and bracketed hood.

Grosvenor House and Nos 1 & 2 (Lockyer Place) form a group with Grosvenor House
Cottages and Nos 1 & 2 (Dale Cottages) Mill Street.
