Tiny C15 cottage, 3 ft below ground level on road side. 2 storeys, 2 windows.
1-storey lean-to extension at left and 1-storey right extension with door.
Square timber framing with diagonal braces. Wattle-and-daub filling on 1st
floor, painted brick below, rendered plinth. One original diagonal mullioned
fixed window on 1st floor left. Other windows casements, mostly old iron with
old lights in restored leading. Inside much exposed timber, ancient fire places,
including one with inglenooks, and massive old plank floors.
