South doorway. The right hand shield on the 2011 welcome plaque contains the Arms of the see of Canterbury: Azure, a pastoral staff in pale or, ensigned with a cross pattee argent surmounted by a pall of the last, edged and fringed of the second, charged with four crosses pattee fitchee sable. These Arms impale: Argent between three swans sable on a chevron azure three mullets or. (Photo Aug 2013).
