C16 timber framed cottage. 2 storeys, 2 windows, irregular. Half hipped tiled
roof with ridge stack. Tile hunf 1st floor, red brick ground floor; left part
probably a C19 addition. Small C19 casement. Remains of old window at right.
Altered inglenook and much exposed framing inside.

Ashurst Cottage and Mitre Cottage form a group.

Ashurst Cottage shall be amended to read Ashurst Park North Lodge

The group value note should read Ashurst Park North Lodge and Mitre Cottage
form a group.
