Corner terraced house with later shop. c.1790 Portman Estate development.
Stock brick with stucco ground floor; concealed slate roof. Slightly set
forward from adjoining Nos. 47 to 52 q.v. 2-windows wide with 4-window (2
blind) return to Blandford Street. Mid C.20 shop front inserted in ground
floor but original house doorway to left on Manchester Street front,
semicircular arched with Coade imposts and keystone, panelled door and
fanlight. Recessed sashes to upper floors under flat gauged arches. 1st
floor plat band finishes off stuccowork. Stone coped parapet. Included
for group value only.
