Formerly farmhouse, now house: C17 with later C19 additions and
alterations. Timber-framed with brick nogging on ashlar stone plinth.
Kerridge stone-slate roof and 2 brick chimneys. 1½ storey, 3-bay
front. 9 by 3 regular timber small frames with angle bracing of the
wall plate. Left end bay has inserted 3-light casement, with gabled
half dormer above. Added brick porch has gabled hood on timber posts,
and a 2-light casement above. Right end bay projects forward under
gable. 3-light casement below and 2-light above and herringboning in
the gable. Major brick extensions to rear are painted with false
timber framing.
Interior: Chamfered ceiling beams survive.
