north of Fulshaw Hall.

Formerly stables, coachhouse, and entrance arch, now staff restaurant
and offices dated 1890 for R Lingard Monk. English bond orange brick
with stone dressings. Kerridge stone-slate roof. L-shaped plan. 1
and 2-storey 7-bay south front. Left 2 bays have chamfered stone
heads to small pane windows and a half-glazed door. Central portion
has a stone-coped gabled half dormer and a stone mullioned and
twin-transomed window. Right end bay has a stone-coped and ball
finialled gable in front of which is a 3-stage octagonal clock tower
with a louvred wooden bellcote with lead cupola roof. 3-centred
arched headed window with label mould in the gable. Louvred
ventilators on the ridge. At right end is a segmental entrance arch
with a shaped stone-coped and ball finialled top containing the date
plaque.
