Bearing the inscription 'These Stables were erected with old bricks by Thomas
Frewen Turner Esq, MP 1835, S Smirke Architect. S Baker Builder'. They consist
of a 4-centred archway and low tower surmounted by an octagonal lantern with
a lead ogee cupola, on each side of which is a two storey portion with 2 gablets
to the outer face and 6 raised panels above the parapet on the inner face, which
also has a clock face.
