1790 circa. A terrace of houses. Red brick (Nos 1 and 2 painted brick) with brick
eaves cornice. Tiled roof. 2 storeys and attic, 1 window and 1 dormer each.
Sashes with glazing bars and boxed frames to those of 1st floor, moulded frames
below. Doorways with small flat hoods above, those at Nos 1 and 2 supported on
narrow uprights.
The 4 street lamps, Church Lane House, its walls and gate piers, Nos 14 to 28 (even)
Nos 34 and 36 with its garden wall form a group with the wall opposite Serampore
Place, the walls to No 35 and to the bungalow.
