House. Circa 1450 frame with circa 1500 inserted red brick chimney. Timber
framed and rough rendered. Red plain tiled roof. Hipped with gablets. Rear
extension and single storey extension to right. 2 storeys. 3 window range
of C20 small paned casements including two ground floor oriels,C20 open pediment
porch. C20 small paned glazed door. Circa 1500 fireplace replaced a timber
chimney. First floor arched brace to tie beam. 2 armed crown podst roof.
Collars to every rafter pair. Plaster partition in roof inscribe "frederick
Hubbard 1662 Cavendish". Several C18 doors. Probably a moated site. A C18
red brick and flint wall encloses front garden. RCHM 9.
