11/99 Pair of houses at
Stewponey Lock
Pair of houses. Early to mid-C19. Painted brick; plain tile and
interlocking tile roofs; brick central stack. Aligned north-south
facing west. Principal 2-storey, 3-bay house to left; casements with
stepped lintels grooved as voussoirs. Central glazed door with wooden
architrave and cornice hood. 3-storey, single-bay attached house set-
back to the right; glazing bar sashes. Central door with wooden door-
case and cornice hood.
