2/31 Cottage in yard to north of
Trewanta Hall

Small house. Probably C17 origins. Stone rubble, painted on front. Slate roof with
gable ends and with some probably early crested ridge tiles. Stone rubble end stack
on right.
Plan: Two room and cross passage plan with larger hall-kitchen on right heated by end
stack and smaller unheated room on left.
Exterior: Two storeys. Asymmetrical 2-window front elevation. Probably C19 plank
door slightly to left of centre with 6-pane sash to right and two probably C20 2-
light casements on first floor. Medieval window made from a single piece of stone in
the gable end on right.
Interior: Not accesible.
