House, probably late C17 or early C18 with added barn late C18 partly rebuilt
early C19. Thin coursed hammer dressed stone, stone slate roof survives in
part. 2 storeys to south front, single-storey aisle or outshut to rear. 2
cells. South front has barn at left hand end with segmental-arched cart entry,
with doorways to either side with monolithic jambs. Quoins mark division of
house from barn. All are chamfered mullioned windows (lacking some mullions);
2-light fire-window, 4-light housebody window with 3-light window over to 1st
floor; 4-light window with 5-light window over to 1st floor. Left hand return
wall blind. Rear is back to earth and has chamfered and flat faced mullioned
windows of 2 and 3 lights. Right hand return wall has chamfered mullioned
window of 3 lights to ground floor and 2 lights to 1st floor. Partly coped
gable. Remains of central stack.
