GV II

Group of mid to late C18 cottages forming a U-shaped plan. Thin coursed hammer
dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Central range (Nos 2 and 3) has
paired doorways with flat faced mullioned sashed windows of 2 lights to left and
3 lights to right to both floors. Gable stacks. Left hand gabled wing breaks
forward and has 3-light windows in the right hand return wall, 2-light window in
the gable and 3-light windows in left hand return wall with doorway with
monolithic jambs to New Laithe Cottage. No 4 breaks forward and has ridge
parallel with Nos 2 and 3, small single sashed windows. Altered glazing. 2
stacks.
