Post Office and shop. C19. Colourwashed, rendered, hipped slate roof, brick
chimney. Shop front to street, house accommodation to rear of shop, entrance to house
through porch at left end, entrance to shop on street front. 2-storey front. Ground
floor has canted bay windows for shop display on either side of entrance. Each bay
has 18 panes with moulded glazing bars above unrendered stone plinth. Double leaf
glazed entrance door, each leaf with 6 panes, lower part of door repaired with metal
sheeting. First floor windows 2 pairs timber sashes, 2 panes per sash. Letter box in
wall to right of bay window. On a prominent corner in the hamlet of Grimscott.
