Wall. Mid/late C19. For Bristol Gas Light Company. Pennant
rubble and ashlar. Perimeter wall to SE and NE sides of former
gasworks; incorporating an infilled elliptical ashlar carriage
arch at the NW end. Part of the Bristol Gas Light Company's
Avon Street works, opened in 1821. Listed as part of the
industrial landscape around the St Vincent's Works (qv), and
its associated walls.
