Former skating rink, now warehouse. Circa 1877 with C20 lean-to additions.
Red brick and slate roof. Single storey. C20 entrances in north and south
walls at the east end. 2 out of the 3 original windows survive in the
east gable each with 2 tall 8-light semi-circular arched casements with
radial glazing bars to head. The windows in the long sided and west
gable all with similar semi-circular brick arches, have bean blocked or
altered. Impressive single frame arched brace open timber roof with
collar and king-post in 6-full and 2-half end bays, The large curved
braces spring from small brick wall piers and have struts, some of which
are decorated with ¾ round ends, to the wall posts and rafters. Deep
section side purlins support raking boards above cross bracing between
trusses .
