2 town houses with shops. Mid C19. Render on probably masonry
to Looe News; render on studwork to Gregorys; dry slate hipped
roof with crested red ridge tiles and modillions to eaves
fascia; central brick stack to front slope and brick stack on
left. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; 4-window range. C20 4-pane
horned sashes, those of Gregorys within moulded architraves.
Ground floor has C20 shop front on the left and late C19
double shop front on the right. This complete shop front has 2
lights plus sidelight returns to either side of central
doorway with original glazed and panelled door; panelled
soffit; round fronted section mullions with moulded bases and
caps and moulded entablature with fascia. INTERIOR not
inspected. Included for group value.
