In Sacred memory of Richard Duke Esquire who died 19th April Ano Dni 1641 Leaving 5 sons 2 Daughters.

The arms show those of Duke (per fess or & azure three chaplets counterchanged) impaling Basset (barry wavy of six or and gules). The crests are a demi-griffin for Duke and unicorn for Basset.

In the space below the two daughters, an hourglass & skull are shown.
