Terraces, Steps and Cistern at Fanhams Hall on W side of house

2 terraces, steps and cistern. Circa 1901 bv W Wood Bethell for
R B Croft as part of rebuilding of Fanhams Hall qv. Stone
paving, limestone balustrades, piers and steps. Red brick wall
with stone dressings on W of upper terrace. Wrought iron gates
and bronze lotus shaped bowl in stone cistern in middle of lower
terrace. Balustraded in form of rusticated stone arcades with
heavy moulded coping swept up to square piers with knobs.
Scalloped top to brick wall. Arts and Crafts iron gates to 2
flights of steps and W end of upper balustrade.
