Only two windmills survive in Dorset and Angel Mill is one of them.
They are both very old and are shown on the 1626 map of William Simplon.
Theye were operated by the Pearce family for a number of years before ceasing use in the 1890's.
At the time of photographing, 26th June 2024, this mill was about to have a new cap installed.
