Toll house. Early C19. Brick; hipped Welsh slate roof with C20
barge-boards and boarded soffits; brick end stack with
dentilled step. Tower with wing to right. 2-storeys; 2-window
range: 2-light casements with span arched heads, all under
2-piece pointed lintels, flanking tollboard niche. Similar
taller windows to ground floor. To left, battened and studded
plank door under 2-piece pointed stone lintel, with C20
altered porch with pentice hood; fixed lights with metal
glazing bars over and to right. Right returned side has
2-light casement with span arched head under 2-piece, pointed
stone lintel. Further single storey leanto, against screen
wall with niches under brick pointed arches; metal lattice
lights in returned side; brick stack to rear.
