Terrace of 4 houses, now offices. c1770, rebuilt c1980. Brick
with limestone dressings, brick party wall stacks and a
pantile roof. Double-depth plan. Mid Georgian style.
Each of 3 storeys; 2-window range. Rusticated quoin strips to
moulded parapet coping. No.13 has a semicircular-arched
left-hand doorway with plate-glass fanlight and 6-panel door.
Facsimile C19 shop fronts with moulded jambs and consoles to
fascias, and large-paned windows. Left-hand Venetian windows
to Nos 13 & 19, right-hand to the others, with sill blocks and
interlacing heads, and segmental heads with 5 stepped
voussoirs to 6/6-pane sashes. INTERIOR: no period details.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: spear-headed railings to steps and area.
Completely rebuilt to the original design, and forming, with
the neighbouring listed buildings, a fairly complete late C18
street.
