GV II

House, now shop and flat. Mid C18 with C19 and C20
alterations. Coursed squared stone with painted ashlar
dressings; roof of composition tiles imitating Welsh slate,
and red ridge tiles, with brick chimney. 2 storeys; 2-window
range. Step up to 6-panel door at right and overlight with
glazing bars in painted stone surround. Shop front has
recessed glazed door at left and plate glass window in frame
of slender wood mullions supporting fascia under folding
canopy on hinged iron stays. 4-pane sashes above, of almost
square proportions in painted plain stone surrounds flush
against eaves. Roof has tall left end chimney of narrow bricks
and with stone band, raised in brick with top stone band.
