House, now shops and flats. Mid C18 with late C19 shops.
Coursed squared painted sandstone with ashlar dressings; roof
composition tiles with stone gable copings. 2 storeys;
3-window range. Tooled stone surround to low renewed glazed
door to right of centre. At left, 2-light wide shop front with
paired doors at right, half-glazed to shop and 5-panel to
flat, both with overlights; end pilasters with cyma recta
brackets flanking fascia and supporting folding canopy with
hinged iron stays. Shop at right has small, shallow 4-pane
window under fascia with shop sign fixed above. Tooled plain
stone surrounds to first-floor sashes, all renewed with 4
panes. Roof has slightly swept eaves and right gable coping on
moulded kneeler with chamfered coping. Tall end chimneys, the
left raised to adjacent stack. INTERIOR: not inspected.
