Statue of Prince Albert. Dated 1868. By Thomas Earle.
Life-size white marble standing figure on square pedestal with
moulded plinth and cornice. Recessed panels with shields on
each side, the front one with inscription. Square granite base
with string course. The statue was erected by public
subscription to complement the statue of Queen Victoria
erected in 1863.
