Early C19 front to older building. 3 storeys. Upper part - painted stone
with rusticated angle pilasters, fluted frieze and moulded bracketted cornice
with plain parapet. Projects above neighbouring roofs and has portion of
pilasters, cornice and parapet returned on each face. Hipped old tile roof.
2 windows on upper floors. Modern shop front on ground floor, glazing bar
sashes. 3 storey brick and small coursed and dressed rubble extension to
rear, the 2nd floor of its gable end timber framed (early C19).
