Substantial House.
Probably later 17th century with later alterations and additions. Brick
with rough cast front. Slate mansard roof. 2 storeys and dormers. 5 windows.
Band at 1st floor. Twin valley roof behind parapet with cornice and blocking
course. Red brick stacks each with clustered diagonally set shafts.
Casement windows with timber mullions and transoms. Wood doorcase with
panelled pilasters, consoles and open pediment, Understood to contain panelled
hall, and oak staircase with moulded strings and handrail, turned balusters and
square newels.
