Mid C19. 2 storeys stucco faced on plinth with moulded string between
storeys, Gable end slate roof, plain bargeboards with scrolled ends,
overhanging eaves with decorated guttering. 3 window front, recessed
sashes to 1st floor, later glazing, moulded sills, cornices on consoles.
Ground floor has 2 shallow canted bays on stucco bases, sash lights, decorated
friezes and moulded cornices. Central door of 6 fielded panels, side
lights with panels below, rectangular fanlight. Shouldered architrave
surround to doorway with scrolled open pediment.

"Grassmere" and Rose Cottage form a group.
