1866 (dated). Hammer dressed stone. Pitched slate roof. 1 storey. Lower
lean-to entrance extension, with coped stone gable ends. Centre part of this
breaks forward and is surmounted by coped gable on kneelers: floriate finial:
coat of arms in tympanum: planked doors in segment-headed arch with "First
Dorset Rifle Volunteers. 1866" inscribed. 1 door and 1 casement with glazing
bars, both with keystones. Above entrance are 3 round-arched windows with
glazing bars and keystones, central one tallest.
